This 8-week course focuses on all the basics of pottery making. Students will learn hand-building, using a potter's wheel for both throwing and trimming and a variety of surface decoration and glazing techniques. Classes are small enough to accommodate some tailoring to the interests of the group.
Classes meet once weekly for 8 consecutive weeks from April 9 through May 28, 2025 Wednesdays from
6:30-8:30pm.
All levels welcome.
Tuition is $675. This includes materials and firings.

Clay Therapy Groups

Our dear friend and licensed therapist, Shanna Townley will be offering Clay Therapy Groups starting this fall at our Local Pottery Studio. Clay Therapy is a hands-on approach to personal growth and healing. No previous clay experience or artistic inclination necessary.

Hand-Built Mug Workshop - Saturday,
February 8th
10:30 - 12pm
In this one-day, 1.5 hr workshop, participants will learn the basics of making a decorated hand-built mug from a slab of clay. From construction to stamp decoration to creating a comfortable handle you will create your very own unique mug. All materials are provided but feel free to bring your own stamps!
Mugs will be fired and dipped in our in-house glossy white glaze.
You can pick up finished work in a few weeks time.

This workshop is FULL.
Open Studio Session
Every Tuesday from 5:30-8:30
& Saturday from 10-1.
You must pre-register.
In this one-day, 3 hour open studio, you'll get some additional time in the studio. Want to finish a project or stretch yourself a bit further than in a workshop? Or maybe this is the space for your regular studio practice. An instructor is on-hand to assist but should not be expected to fully instruct any technique so previous experience at local pottery studio & gallery is required.
You can pick up your finished work after we fire your pieces for you. This takes three weeks.
Open studio is available (almost!) every Tuesday from 5:30-8:30pm, slots open on an ongoing basis, occasionally on Saturday mornings from 10-1. Scroll through and select your date(s) for attendance.
Tuition is $60.00, materials and firing are included, with some size limitations.

-Tuition is $160/month (4 classes), materials and firings are always billed separately based on volume. A $20 deposit for materials and firings is required.
